About Our Non-Profit
Pink Warriors Foundation, is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. Pink Warriors Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that offers temporary assistance, support services, education & awareness, and community engagement to individuals fighting breast cancer. Established with a heartfelt commitment to support and empower individuals and families navigating the challenges of breast cancer, our organization strives to be a beacon of hope and resilience.
Our Mission
To provide compassionate support to individuals and families affected by breast cancer, offering hope and empowerment throughout their journey towards healing and recovery.
Above all, Shavon is a proud mother to three incredible children: Bria, Madyson, and Bryson. Her journey through breast cancer has deepened her commitment to equity, advocacy, and care—values she demonstrates daily, both personally and professionally.

In October 2023, Shavon was diagnosed with Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma, a form of Stage 1 breast cancer, with Her2 and Estrogen positivity. Her journey through diagnosis, treatment, and healing has profoundly shaped her perspective, inspiring her to use her voice and experience to support others facing similar challenges. As a professional with extensive expertise in maternal and child health, Shavon brings unique insights into the intersection of healthcare, equity, and personal advocacy. She now speaks openly about her experience to promote awareness and offer hope to individuals navigating the complexities of breast cancer.
Shavon holds a Master’s in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Counseling, both from DePaul University. She is also a licensed Professional Educator and holds a DEI certificate from Essex Business School, a Doula training certificate from DONA International, and a 40-hour Domestic Violence Certification.
